Instead, it relies on small, fast, low-profile attack boats operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). These boats: Are often smaller than recreational boats . Use multiple engines for high speed. Are armed with heavy machine guns, rockets, and anti-ship missiles . Operate in swarms from multiple directions. 4.
