And according to Sener, capital itself isn't the shortage. Banks, private lenders and an increasing number of international lenders are looking for opportunities to finance credible power and data-center projects. The challenge is turning ambitious development pipelines into projects that can actually secure equipment, connect to the grid and deliver reliable electricity. Todd and Adil also examine the enormous growth expected in Texas, where surging power requirements are forcing grid operators to distinguish serious projects from speculative interconnection requests.
