It's an emotionally rich, character-driven series about love and loss, and found family, and the lengths we'd go through to protect the people we care about. That's what's kept us coming back all these years. (And also we like zombies.) I’m Jason Cabassi. My cohost Karen and I started podcasting about The Walking Dead back in 2010. Along the way, I’ve appeared on the show a couple of times as a walker, hosted hundreds of Q&A panels with TWD actors at conventions across the U.S., and eventually teamed up with my current co-host, the witty and insightful Lucy Hinnie. Together—with some incredible guests—we’ve covered The Last of Us and every Walking Dead spinoff, from Fear to Dead City. Right now, we’re enjoying a rewatch of the original series—with the full story in mind—and diving into the moments that still hit hard. Past guests on the podcast include Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Robert Kirkman, Angela Kang, Greg Nicotero, and many more. And the most fun and fulfilling part of all this has absolutely been interacting with you gu…","last_synced_at":"2026-07-19T00:17:02.969232+00:00","page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/the-walking-dead-cast-533300"},"episode":{"title":"Bonus: Jeffrey Dean Morgan Walker Stalker Panel (2016)","slug":"bonus-jeffrey-dean-morgan-walker-stalker-panel-2016","published_at":"2026-07-13T07:00:00+00:00","page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/the-walking-dead-cast-533300/bonus-jeffrey-dean-morgan-walker-stalker-panel-2016","show_page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/the-walking-dead-cast-533300","url":"https://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/pdst.fm/e/tracking.swap.fm/track/tcQd6Q6C0RUUlOHq1Ytj/mgln.ai/e/51/pscrb.fm/rss/p/traffic.megaphone.fm/TPG6181907812.mp3","audio_url":"https://www.podtrac.com/pts/redirect.mp3/pdst.fm/e/tracking.swap.fm/track/tcQd6Q6C0RUUlOHq1Ytj/mgln.ai/e/51/pscrb.fm/rss/p/traffic.megaphone.fm/TPG6181907812.mp3","summary":"While we wait for Dead City S3, here's a repost of the Jeffrey Dean Morgan panel from Walker Stalker Con Atlanta 2016. This happened just a few days after S7E1 aired, so it was fresh in people's minds, and it was JDM's first convention appearance as Negan. One of my favorite panels ever. JDM slips in and out of character, and quickly wins the crowd over. Let's see if he'll do the same for you :) We're also joined by Greg Nicotero, who directed the S7 premiere and gives a lot of great info on the thinking and logistics behind it. Enjoying the rewatch? Pluribus, the Twilight-Zoney Apple TV show from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, covered by me and Karen.
