We talk about the challenges of blending families, the gift of resilience, letting our kids experience hardship, the pressure dads feel to get everything right, and why we often spend so much energy trying to protect our children from the very things God may use to grow them. One of my favorite moments was when Jonathan shared a phrase he and his wife repeated often while blending their family: Everything's not on the line. What if we actually believed that? This conversation is full of wisdom, encouragement, and practical reminders for parents in every season.
