Julia Shteynberg grew up in an immigrant household where money was talked about openly, practically, and without drama. Her parents encouraged saving, explained trade-offs, and gave her an early foundation most people never get. She absorbed it all — and built it into a career in corporate finance, climbing to director of FP&A at a startup, manifesting the executive life she'd imagined in college. Then the blood, sweat, and tears of it caught up with her. The pressure, the hours, the startup chaos — she hit a wall so hard she couldn't even look at other finance jobs.
