We consider symptoms to come from disorders - for example, we think anxiety is generated by a disorder labeled "anxiety," and depression is generated by "depression." In truth, these are symptoms of a disturbance in the metaphysical. Soul disconnect causes anxiety and depression. "Mental health" issues are a manifestation of metaphysical disconnect in the soul or emotional / energetic body. Tim and I discuss this common misunderstanding, and: The common foundation for "mental health" issues (living inauthentically; masking; the energy drain of repression and resisting a spiritual transofmration); The "institutional path" (traditional schooling) and why it never felt like school "made sense" to us; Seeking validation as a symptom of missing internal validation; The societal "cure" for feelings (to run away and distract), and how they make spiritual disconnect worse; The true "cure" of surrender, feeling, and duality of emotion - there's a purpose to pain, and going through it is what will bring us back home to our authentic selves.
