She is well known for her groundbreaking research into the theory of massive gravity — a radical theory that contends the graviton has a nonzero mass potentially explaining the expansion of the universe without the need for dark energy. She has been interviewed by Morgan Freeman won the 2020 UK Blavatnik Award for Young Scientists and is the author of The Beauty of Falling: A Life in Pursuit of Gravity.
