Now I work in tech teaching adults how to use various software, platforms, and programs. I started Imagination Draw Along because I think a low-stim, screen-free experience is good for kids and aspiring artists. We move slowly on purpose. I encourage listeners to make their own artistic choices as they follow along. It’s a light hearted show that helps build critical thinking skills by guiding the imagination through wonder. Episodes are 10-15 minutes long. New episodes will be available every Tuesday and Thursday. (I recently transitioned from Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Here are 3 ideas your imagination can wonder about based on our drawing today: Smores are a sweet treat that usually have graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. What would you put on a smore? If you were sleeping in your tent in the woods, what type of sounds do you think you would hear? Phones and iPads don’t usually work while camping-- what would you do for fun instead? Imagination Draw Along is an intentionally low stimulation and screen free show that gives artists space to develop confidence in decision making-- because there’s no wrong way to do art!
