Patrick Clancy filed a wrongful-death action against four of Lindsay’s medical providers and their employers. Lindsay filed her own malpractice case naming those same four defendants plus additional clinicians and hospitals. The complaints allege failures to diagnose, monitor, and coordinate her psychiatric care as her condition worsened. Patrick’s lawsuit also alleges that Lindsay received eight different medication prescriptions within a three-week window. The civil cases address provider negligence, while the mistrial leaves Lindsay Clancy’s criminal responsibility unresolved.
