I decided I needed the first break of my lifetime, and I took a leave from my job .... and started a podcast. It started as a platform to share my story with Bipolar Disorder.... and then started turning into journal-style recordings of many experiences from my past, not only to do with my mental illness, but including so many other things with a lot of laughter and tears as I have been told my story-telling is beyond compare. Up until a few weeks ago, the podcast was going in one direction ... well, actually, numerous directions... but I thought I knew exactly where I was and where I would end up. Turns out.... after a bipolar depressive crash in early June .... I realized the entire podcast up until then ... was recorded in something called a \"Quiet Hypomanic\" episode of Bipolar Disorder. I was shocked, embarrassed, mortified ... and I almost deleted this entire thing, I could not even stomach the idea of listening back to even ONE episode .... But... Here I am. The dust has settled a bit .... Nothing is immediate ... nothing changes overnight ... but we just need to all hang in there... and remember that each day... it can get lighter, if you keep that BELIEF ... if you truly know that there is something bigger than US ... and that we are made to go through this darkness .... in order to get to that daylight. And remember .... once in awhile ... when you get to the point where you are DONE waiting for that light at the end of the tunnel.... you grab that dynamite ... that you probably have to find at the back of the closet under all of the boxes of memories that you wish you could forget .... and you take a match .... and LIGHT THAT BITCH UP YOURSELF.
