Getting a dedicated bills account working so she can know, without constantly checking and stressing, that the bills are covered. And the biggest shift we make in this episode is simple: instead of transferring money INTO the bills account whenever bills need to be paid, let all of the income land there first. Then transfer OUT only the amount available for spending. That one change can create so much clarity. We also talk about why getting ahead financially doesn’t necessarily mean magically finding an entire extra month of income overnight. For Jen, getting her system organized and using the paycheck she receives at the end of the month for the upcoming month can start creating that buffer naturally.
