Eric’s Cultural Blindspot of the week is on the AFI 100 list, Modern Times  with Charlie Chaplin. It was a movie square on the fence between the silent era and “talkies” about finding and keeping a job in the face of modern times. Also starring Paulette Goddard, Eric was surprised to find he enjoyed it so much and saw the seeds of many comedy bits like I Love Lucy’s  chocolate factory episode. Stacy watched KPop Demon Hunters which she was also surprised to enjoy since she’s not into K-pop or manufactured bands. Her takeaway was its good for children AND your inner child. As for nicknames, Ric-y Radio/E/Eric has none while Beans/Stacky/Fire Face/Stacy has plenty to go by and give!
