I didn't discard the original monologue because the facts weren’t true, but because I gradually realized I’d drifted into making myself the moral centre of someone else’s story. Rather than edit around that, I recorded the whole thing again. This episode sits in an unusual space between philosophy, ethics, memoir, and performance. It touches on questions that show up in moral psychology, organizational ethics, narrative identity, and the philosophy of truth—but it does so while you'll hear me pacing around my house, thinking out loud, changing direction, and trying to notice what my own body is doing as much as what my mind is saying. If you’re looking for a polished argument, this probably isn’t it. If you’re looking for a paper, it definitely isn’t. The ideas arrive through movement, tangents, jokes, embarrassment, and revision.
