Hadran.org.il is the first and only site where one can hear a daily Talmud class taught by a woman. The classes are taught in Israel by Rabbanit Michelle Cohen Farber, a graduate of Midreshet Lindenbaum's scholars program with a BA in Talmud and Tanach from Bar-Ilan University. Michelle has taught Talmud and Halacha at Midreshet Lindenbaum, Pelech high school and MATAN. She lives in Ra'anana with her husband and their five children. Each morning the daf yomi class is delivered via ZOOM and then immediately uploaded and available for podcast and download. Hadran.org.il reaches women who can now have access to a woman's perspective on the most essential Jewish traditional text. This podcast represents a revolutionary step in advancing women's Torah study around the globe.","last_synced_at":"2026-07-17T14:21:09.148798+00:00","page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/daf-yomi-for-women-hadran-638456"},"episode":{"title":"Chullin 10 - May 10, 23 Iyar","slug":"chullin-10-may-10-23-iyar","published_at":"2026-05-10T05:08:00+00:00","page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/daf-yomi-for-women-hadran-638456/chullin-10-may-10-23-iyar","show_page_url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/daf-yomi-for-women-hadran-638456","url":"https://hadran.org.il/daf/chullin-10/","audio_url":"https://traffic.libsyn.com/secure/hadran/Chullin10.mp3?dest-id=1768700","summary":"If it is discovered after shechita that the knife has nicks, can we assume the slaughter was valid because the nicks occurred after the two simanim were cut, or is there a concern that they occurred while cutting the hide before the simanim ? Rav Huna and Rav Chisda disagree on this matter. Two difficulties are raised against Rav Chisda's ruling to permit, but they are resolved. Rabbi Yonatan derives it from the case of a leprous house, but Rav Acha disagrees with his derivation.","meta_description":"If it is discovered after shechita that the knife has nicks, can we assume the slaughter was valid because the nicks occurred after the two simanim were c…","key_points":[],"chapters":[],"topics":[],"duration_seconds":2953,"processing_state":"not_requested","actions":[{"name":"request_transcript","method":"POST","url":"https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/daf-yomi-for-women-hadran-638456/episodes/chullin-10-may-10-23-iyar/transcription-requests","description":"Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode."},{"name":"read_markdown","method":"GET","url":"https://stenobird.com/podcast/daf-yomi-for-women-hadran-638456/chullin-10-may-10-23-iyar.md","description":"Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource."}]}}
