Susan Clancy testified that Lindsay's mental health deteriorated dramatically in the months before the deaths of her three children and told jurors that Lindsay was \"begging for help.\" Defense psychiatrist Dr. Donald Condie also criticized portions of her treatment records as sparse and testified about symptoms reflected in those records. The defense argues that severe postpartum mental illness left Lindsay Clancy not criminally responsible.
