Flex recaps a rare win at the local brewpub after years of bad food, bad service, and emotional damage, only to find great beer, jalapeño slaw, and a cheese pizza good enough to make everyone question reality. Greg and Flex then give Yuengling the proper tribute it deserves as the most all right beer on the face of the planet, which is not an insult as much as a diagnosis. Greg talks barbecue with Interim Brian, a surprise fruited hazy that didn’t ruin his day, and the very good news that Casa Agria recipes are showing up again at Rincon. The whale testicle beer sends the guys straight into 2,000 pounds of ball math, Icelandic smoking logistics, and whether California wildfires could be repurposed for whale-based brewing. Then Bryan from Madison calls in with the beer rep side of old shelf beer, Flex gets corrected by multiple people about badgers actually existing in Wisconsin, and everyone learns that feedback is great even when it proves you were stupid.
