Paul knew that suffering and imprisonment were waiting for him, yet he refused to become paralyzed by fear. Instead, he trusted God with what was ahead, remained faithful to his assignment, prepared the leaders around him, and continued moving forward in obedience. Sis, surrender does not mean abandoning your responsibilities. It means releasing your need to control the outcomes that were never yours to control in the first place. Give it to God—and then rest, trusting that He is still working, even while you sleep.
