But we’ve learned that we don’t have to rely solely on the system to understand how our children learn. For us, it’s about understanding our child’s IEP, understanding how their brain works, and giving them the tools they need to navigate their challenges. It’s about helping them create their own roadmap to success—on their own terms. We choose to celebrate effort over perfection. We try to understand the gaps rather than shame them. And above all, we want to help our kids grow into confident people. At the end of the day, that’s what we’re trying to protect most: their confidence. You can work on grades.
