James also took a seven year journey of learning, what he describes as a master class in cell biology, after his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. During that time, he built lifelong relationships with leading PhDs and medical professionals from institutions including Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Stanford, Miller in Miami, and Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
