You’re planning earthly things. You’re in the mix of earthly details. But God is high above it all in heavenly things. From his vantage point, he sees it all. But remember this, he not only sees it all, he can control it all. And if God steps in and rearranges a few things, don’t you think it’s because he sees what you cannot? MAY HEAVENLY THINGS CONSTANTLY INTERRUPT YOUR EARTHLY THINGS. Maybe this isn’t an inconvenience, this is a divine intervention! Many years ago I simply decided to change my personal philosophy from the victim mentality of why were things always happening to me, to believing things weren’t happening to me, they were happening for me. This isn’t naive. This isn’t clueless. This is faith. This is trusting God is in every detail, and if the details change, then either he is already at work, or he CAN work it out for my benefit. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” You either believe it, or you don’t. If you believe it, then you can trust this isn’t happening to you, it’s happening FOR you, because God is working all things together for good concerning you. Why?
