Two days later, the car was still there, but 30-year-old Steven Koecher was nowhere to be found. In the days and weeks that followed, Steven’s family learned of a series of odd, long-distance road trips he had taken in the days before he vanished. As they began to investigate, police were left with more questions than answers. What had drawn Steven to that upscale neighborhood on a Sunday afternoon? Did he walk away to start a new life? Did he meet with foul play? Or was something else responsible? Now, over sixteen years later, Steven’s fate remains unsolved, and his loved ones are still desperate for answers.
