A past high-level competitor, he won national championships, competed at the Olympic team trials, represented the USA on the collegiate national team, and was victorious in Pro-TKD. Once retired, he turned his attention to becoming a high-level coach, putting an athlete on the United States Olympic team and many athletes on all levels of the USA national team.   Master DS Lee has never hesitated to share his knowledge to not only grow USA Taekwondo's pipeline but also give back to the older athletic community by becoming its first-ever head coach for the USA Masters Team.
