Over the years, I have written hundreds of poems, crafted personal greeting cards, prepared legal and clinical narratives, authored policies, and contributed professional magazine articles. A defining influence in my journey as a writer came during my senior year at Waite High School, where a demanding, college-level literature teacher shaped my discipline and sharpened my voice.
