In this immersive soundscape episode of the Winging It Travel Podcast, I take you with me through the colourful streets, lively markets, rooftop cafés and buzzing Zócalo of one of the most atmospheric cities I’ve ever visited. This episode is all about slowing down and soaking in the vibe of Oaxaca through sound, food and real-time reactions. From tlayudas and mole to mezcal tastings and local market snacks, this city absolutely lived up to every bit of hype I had built up in my head over the years. Honestly, this became one of my favourite cities I visited during my Central America and Mexico trip. The colours felt brighter, the food tasted richer and the atmosphere was unlike anywhere else I’ve travelled before. Oaxaca gave me that rare feeling where a destination genuinely exceeds your expectations.
