We met Shayne when his band Gusher opened up for Frank Black at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit on 1.28.25. The band was awesome and we met Shayne outside after his set. It was cool to hear how Shayne got his start in music and more specifically how he became the frontman for Gusher. Shayne is also the owner of Metropolis Bicycles in the Corktown area of Detroit. Great story about a guy who never wanted to be a frontman but eneded up becoming of the of the more charismatic lead singers we have seen perform. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/two-dudes-and-killer-tunes-6298128/episodes/tdakt-s3-ep9-shayne-o-keefe/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/two-dudes-and-killer-tunes-6298128/tdakt-s3-ep9-shayne-o-keefe.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
