With zero physical evidence, investigators quickly zeroed in on Fred Freeman (now known as Temujin Kensu), an ex-boyfriend of the victim's fiancée. There was just one massive problem: Freeman was 400 miles away in Escanaba at the time of the shooting, an alibi verified by nine independent witnesses. Or was he?
