«BILLIG UND LIEBLOS» Wir finden Olympische Spiele eine der besten Ideen überhaupt. Zusammen waren wir an acht Olympischen Spielen – Bruno Saile als Athlet, ich als Sportredaktorin. Was wir an den Winterspielen 2026 in Mailandund Cortina gesehen haben, geht in eine falsche Richtung. Unser Fazit: «Billig und lieblos». Wir waren vor Ort, in der Vorwoche in Mailand und zu den Wettkämpfen in Livigno. Was ist uns aufgefallen? Was haben auch Athleten kritisiert? Wer profitiert von den 8 Milliarden Einnahmen des IOC innerhalb eines Olympischen Zyklus? MORDDROHUNGEN UND ABGEFACKELTES BOOTSHAUS Ausserdem: Ich erinnere mich an einzigartige, wertige und freudvolle Winterspiele in Lillehammer 1994. Brunos Erlebnisse mit einer Abreise 1980 an die Spiele in Moskau inkognito und mit vorausgegangenen Morddrohungen gegen einen Teamkameraden und einem abgefackelten Bootshaus zeigen, das Olympische Spiele sich in einem extremen Spannungsfeld befinden.
