Guest Resume: William D. Shapiro, Esq. Bill Shapiro is the founding partner of William D. Shapiro Law, Inc. in San Bernardino, California, and he has been practicing law since 1979. Bill handles a broad variety of tort cases including personal injury, back/spinal injury, wrongful death, head/brain injuries, amputations, car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, defective products, public entity liability, and insurance bad faith.   Bill is a Diplomate in the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was sworn in as the 2026 National ABOTA President in January 2026. Bill is also a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a Fellow in the International Society of Barristers. Bill has served in many bar leadership positions. He serves on the State Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys of California, is a past president of the San Bernardino/Riverside ABOTA Chapter and is a past president of the Consumer Attorneys of Inland Empire.     Bill has received numerous awards for his trial advocacy. He was recognized in Top Verdicts in 2022 by the LA Daily Journal.
