As a young man, he entered the Society of Jesus, drawn to its discipline, missionary spirit, and devotion to the defense of the Catholic faith. After his ordination, Andrew became known as a gifted preacher and confessor. He worked especially in the eastern territories of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, where Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and various Protestant communities lived side by side, often amid tension and instability. Andrew devoted himself to preaching, teaching, and ministering to the faithful in difficult mission territories. He became particularly active in efforts to strengthen unity with the Church…
