I greet you in Jesus’ precious name! It is Tuesday morning, 16th June 2026, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for today. We start in the Book of Acts 22:18. This is Jesus speaking. He says: “Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.” Then we go to Matthew 10:14, Jesus speaking again: “And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.” Now, it is quite a serious thing to get your timing right. If you are not wanted there, there is no point in staying there, you need to move. You need to obey the voice of God. Timing is so very important in a Christian’s life.  Many years ago, I was called to a little town to go and hold a crusade, and I had given them much notice, 6 months' notice in fact, but the night that I arrived, I drove into that town. The first thing I noticed - no advertising at all. Nothing, not one poster on the poles, no announcement of the meeting taking place. When I got to the organisers, I said, “What’s happened? There is no notice at all about the meeting that is coming.” “Oh”, they said, “we had a big wind. It went through this town a week ago and blew all the posters away.”  Then we got to the field and nothing had been done, nothing! No sound equipment, no stage, nothing whatsoever. Then that night, just by word of mouth and calling people off the street, we had a lovely meeting. I think we had a large crowd and many people gave their lives to the Lord. Then I said, “We are leaving tonight”. They were shocked. In fact, some of the organisers came and said, “Why are you leaving? The people are coming.” I said, “There is nobody here. The only people that have come tonight are the ones t…
