Today, after experimenting with the latest generation of AI tools, my answer has changed. I walk through my journey from early frustrations with AI image generators to discovering workflows that produce remarkably consistent comic pages. Instead, I argue that the future belongs to creators who combine AI with skilled human artists to build faster, more consistent, and higher-quality comics.
