We discuss why dreams often repeat themes, especially during times of particular stress or anxiety and how Jung believed this is when dreams are most useful and ripe for interpretation. We then move into two of Jung's own visions from the Red Book where we discover repeating themes. These visions circle around Jung's quest for spiritual enlightenment, which runs precisely contrary to his scientific ideals; his struggle between these two motivations and a great revelation to be discovered where this struggle ends.
