There are no facts to support the theory that Walter Reuther died in an airplane "accident." Newly discovered documents provide solid evidence of an assassination. The more closely this is observed, the more obvious it becomes. Reuther's battles with key figures like Homer Martin and Jay Lovestone—who became a CIA agent—and his eventual opposition to communist influence in the union, shaped the UAW's direction and contributed to his complex legacy.
