This week, authorities in New Mexico are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. William "Neil" McCasland, and as the investigation enters its third week, officials say there have been no confirmed sightings of McCasland and few significant leads regarding his whereabouts. McCasland, 68, is a former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory whose career placed him at the center of some of the U.S. military's most sensitive science and technology programs.
