But in the past several decades, astronomers have developed increasingly sophisticated techniques for detecting planets outside our solar system, orbiting distant stars many light-years away. Dr. Jason Wang is an innovator who has developed powerful data analysis methods which have allowed us to take direct images of these exoplanets. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/the-astrophysics-podcast-6738395/episodes/dr-jason-wang-taking-a-photo-of-an-exoplanet/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/the-astrophysics-podcast-6738395/dr-jason-wang-taking-a-photo-of-an-exoplanet.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
