He joins us to discuss Tesla’s upcoming album, “Homage,” (due July 17), which reinterprets songs by Elvis, Queen, Badfinger, Supertramp, Bob Seger and others alongside the new original, “Never Alone.” As he and his band mates gear up for a three-month tour with Motley Crue and Extreme, we also learn how a “Cheech & Chong moment” nearly sent Tesla’s 1987 Texxas Jam appearance up in smoke.
