Educating the world about what is sustainable, how to make more sustainable choices, and how to support real sustainable action is the 12th of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In this episode I talk about the power of educating your attendees, clients, audience, and marketing about your sustainability goals, action steps, and expectations. I also challenge you to convert the style of some of your marketing communications from a promotional tone, to an educational tone. Other tips this episode: Listen to the questions you hear onsite and from your clients - make an effort to answer them in your communications. Practice considering what, that might be obvious to you, you can share as education about sustainable choices. Remember that by educating your clients you are empowering them to educate their audience. Add education to all different types of communication.
