Dr. Li's lab builds DNA-based molecular tools to study mechanobiology through single-molecule and quantitative imaging. These tools are used to better understand the cell-cell interactions involved in diseases such as cancer. Dr. Li was named UBCO Faculty Researcher of the Year in 2023. He also acts as the Primary Investigator for the UBC-Okanagan iGEM Team. Join us for this special episode featuring UBC-Okanagan iGEM's Human Practices Lead, Oluwatinufemi (Tinu) Tope-Awofeko. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/stemcast-mcgill-igem-6511088/episodes/stemcast-episode-20-mechano-biology-with-dr-li/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/stemcast-mcgill-igem-6511088/stemcast-episode-20-mechano-biology-with-dr-li.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
