This new Slam mix is a live recording from vinyl DJ Olivia Mendez at C12 Brussels on 24th October 2025. Unlike the usual podcast format, this recording highlights the way she constructs and develops a set on a dancefloor, reading the room and shaping the journey over time. Presenting this format feels important to me, as it shows a different aspect of my craft, closer to the reality of the dancefloor and to how my sets unfold live in a club environment. » This mastered mix represents the first hour of a two-hour set from 3am to 5am. The energy gradually builds throughout the recording, with intensity increasing step by step rather than peaking abruptly. The focus is on evolution and tension, combining driving techno with deeper, more immersive tracks. While the set gains power over time, it never relies on aggression.
