After Yehuda bar Nechemia gave the correct answer, with a big smile, Rabbi Akiva told Yehuda that he’d be shocked if he would live out the year. And he didn’t. This Shiur is a mix of Halacha and Hashkafa. First it analyzes the difference between a Korban brought before the Omer and one brought before the shtei halechem. Then it analyzes the story of Rabbi Akiva and Yehuda Ben Nechemia, and explains why he was deserving of death. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/simply-deep-5901542/episodes/omer-shtei-ha-lechem-and-rabbinic-curses/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/simply-deep-5901542/omer-shtei-ha-lechem-and-rabbinic-curses.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
