The victim believes she is speaking to Microsoft Tech Support. She is told her identity has been compromised and that she needs to take out $25,000, which she eventually was able to do. She meets a courier and gives the crook her money. She also has money at an investment brokerage. She followed the scammers directive and withdrew more cash- before handing it over to the crooks.
