In Nahum 2, we are given a vivid prophetic picture of the fall of Nineveh and the judgment of God against a proud and violent empire. In this message, we walk through that scene of judgment and then step back and ask what it means for us today. God does not ignore evil, and He will not clear the guilty. His justice is not cruelty; It is perfect moral judgment carried out without failure or corruption. This passage also confronts us personally. It calls us away from vengeance, fear, and pride, and toward humility, repentance, and trust in God’s rule over every nation and every life.
