Rich directed the CLD video Blood & Rockets, and returned to the fold to create the comic book that accompanies The Great Parrot-Ox album; he also directed the Golden Egg of Empathy video, which provides a glimpse of the overarching narrative. Rich discusses the creative and collaborative processes for the comic book, including some abandoned concepts, and how his numerous influences led to what we will soon hold in our hands.
