It turns out the Southern Poverty Law Center was giving money to neo-nazi groups so they would go to neo-nazi things and then the SPLC could fundraise off of the rise of neo-nazi groups and call you a neo-nazi. Well done to the FBI for uncovering this fraud. But a lot of damage was done, including the "Greatest Hoax Ever Told".
