Carrie Forrest shares how Google updates and AI Overviews cut her food blog traffic by 80%, dropping monthly page views from nearly 1 million to about 200,000. In this interview, she explains how ad income fell from roughly $20,000 to $30,000 a month to about $4,000 to $5,000, while Amazon earnings dropped from about $35,000 a year to around $150 to $200 a month. She also walks through what she tried that did not work, including workshops, tips, and an AI video.
