## Resource

San Jose Sharks GM Mike Grier races against Monday, September 15th to lock up star forward Will Smith with an eight-year contract — the last chance to secure an extra prime season at today’s cap-friendly rates. Smith, drafted fourth overall and a rising cornerstone, exploded for 59 points last season while evolving into a more impactful two-way player. While his market suggests deals between five and eight years, the timing is critical: after Sept. 15, max contracts drop to seven years. With teammate Macklin Celebrini already signed to a big deal, getting Smith locked in now could cement the Sharks’ future around him — but Smith may prefer a shorter term to hit free agency later when his value skyrockets. Grier has just days to act before this golden window closes forever. Listen in comfort: Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
