## Resource

The Buffalo Sabres are quietly assembling a championship-caliber roster through smart, long-term contracts—locking down stars like Rasmus Dahlin (8-year, $88M), Tage Thompson (7-year, ~$50M), and Mattias Samuelsson (7-year, $30M)—while also investing in young talent like Zach Benson (7-year, $52.5M) and Josh Doan (7-year, $48.65M). Under GM Kevyn Adams and Jarmo Kekalainen, these strategic signings create a sustainable core that balances cost control with elite upside, positioning the team for sustained contention without overpaying.
