## Resource

Robert Thomas, the 27-year-old scoring powerhouse and first-round draft pick, has officially taken the captain’s reins for the St. Louis Blues — a huge honor after leading the team in points for three straight seasons and averaging over a point per game since 2021. Signed to a massive eight-year, $65M deal, Thomas now wears the “C” alongside a rotating group of alternate captains including Jake Neighbours, Dylan Holloway, Colton Parayko, and Philip Broberg. His debut as captain is set for the season opener against Dallas on October 2nd — and while nine other NHL teams still lack a designated captain, the Blues are making a bold statement with their new leader.
