## Resource

Chris Kreider, the 35-year-old veteran scorer, just got a fresh start with the Montreal Canadiens after his contract was terminated by the Anaheim Ducks—just days after going unclaimed on waivers. Despite being stuck in the middle of a massive seven-year deal from his Rangers days, Kreider lit up last season with 50 points in 75 games for the Ducks and brings over 600 career points to the table. With 11 seasons hitting 20 goals, he’s a proven playoff threat—and now joins a Canadiens team hungry to build on their deep postseason run. This move underscores how fast NHL rosters can shift, turning a sudden exit into a strategic addition for a rising contender.
