## Resource

Chris Kreider’s NHL journey takes a new turn as he heads to Montreal on a one-year, $2.15M deal with bonus potential — a savvy move by the Canadiens who need cap space to re-sign key players like Zack Bolduc and Arber Xhekaj. Despite his recent contract termination from Anaheim and modest salary ranking, Kreider brings playoff experience and a strong 2023-24 season (22 goals, 50 points) to a roster in rebuilding mode.
